Aaron English – american (fever) dream CD (Own release)
Why is this the first time I have heard this guy?! Intoxicating sing-along-worthy melodies sprinkled with deceptively simple lyrics fuel this CD. I am hearing a great CD to uplift the sad, but it’s not cliché or cheesy. It is relaxing and mellow. Aaron is based in Seattle but avoids the stereotypical angst heard in many “Seattle” bands. A bard for the new century, a storyteller with a soothing voice, Aaron English couples his voice with complementary piano work. I am not sure how many Mass Movement readers will admit to enjoying it, but all of you should at least try it. Amy Dodge
