Aladdin: Legacy of the Lost 2 and 3 (Radical)
Writer Ian Edginton and illustrators Patrick Reilly and Stjepan Sejic bring their dramatic interpretation of Aladdin to it’s climax in part 2 and 3 and they have taken the principle of the story that most will be familiar but added their own edge…and saucy sorcerers. Though at times the graphics are overly digitised for my liking, there are some fantastic illustrations to compensate with a splendid display of colour and elaborate facial expressions. It is in the renderings of the female characters where Reilly and Sejic really excel as they are particularly strong and all of this compounds into a tantilising tale of treachery, forbidden love and plenty of action to boot.
