This Is A Standoff – Be Disappointed
This Canadian band is now feeling a totally different emotion. After having been excited in 2007, they are now disappointed, or at least they tell us to feel that way. Not sure why, though, as ‘Be Disappointed’ dives deep into a true ‘Standoff sound’ and is even better than its predecessor. They still resemble Millencolin at times, but the progress the band has made is something Millencolin hasn’t shown in years. Add to that their amazing technical abilities, which make me think about A Wilhelm Scream… give this band a another thumb up. Martijn Welzen
