An unending quest for originality, can eat away the passion and emotion that music needs in order to live and breathe. The detail some bands want and pursue for their music, actually kills the intensity. Swedish heroes Refused knew that when they wrote their legendary albums and avoided that trap. In that aspect, Feed The Rhino, from Kent, England, are a kindred spirit. They want to be loud and riotous, but also know that originality can be too costly, and ‘Mr. Red Eye’ is just too insane to accurately describe with mere words. They’ve found the formula to write these overwhelming passionate songs, which are as original as they come. Seemingly, without any effort at all, they crank out amazing tunes that have the best of the afformentioned Refused, Queens of the Stone Age, and uncut metal(core). ‘Mr. Red Eye’ made my list of higly recommended records for 2010 straight away….
