What?!? Only two songs??? Whatever the driving force behind Turbowolf may be, I hope it continues to push them along, and I will be keeping an eye (and an ear) out for more from this hotly-tipped UK band. ‘Let’s Die’ rumbles and growls in an almost Hermano-like manner, with the vocals a dead ringer for John Garcia. This is maybe what Kyuss would sound like, in fact, if they had never broken up. Turbowolf utilize a lot of the quirky elements that Josh Homme employs so often in QOTSA. but they’ve got those wolf-on-the-attack vocals. oh, man! ‘Ancient Snake’ drives things home with a delivery that is equal parts Goatsnake and Dwarves. (Yeah, it’s THAT good.) Bring it on. let’s get a full-length! The Impaler
