The cover of ‘Destination Set To Nowhere’ totally reminded me of the flying saucers of the Space-Nazis in the film ‘Iron Sky’. Musically, don’t expect any cold industrial sounds from Italian Vision Divine. It’s old school, almost Jurassic, metal. Epic, powerful, melodic and with a battle axe in hand, delivered by killer musicians, and singer Fabio Lione who is just, literally, amazing. ‘Destination’ is their 7th full-length for heaven’s sake, and is built around the experience and maturity that you’d expect from such a long standing band, and if you like Dio, Queensryche and closely related bands like Rhapsody or Kamelot, then dive in, because you’re going to love Vision Divine… Martijn Welzen
