It’s Ireland in modern times. The rain keeps falling even though most of the land is already covered. Thousands have drowned and more have been killed by another implacable force of nature. Zombies. Yay! Simon Bestwick has hit us with a cool new take on the rising of the undead in the midst of an unstoppable deluge. What’s even better are our characters. We have a woman who was sold into sex slavery, soldiers, an ex-soldier who is forced back into service, and a professor who hears voices and knows the secret to stopping the apocalypse. Yep, Tide of Souls is a must read for any zombie enthusiast or any fan of Abaddon’s books. The world is ending but love is blossoming… sorry, no it’s not.
