Eye Beyond Sight – The Sun And The Flood CD (Massacre)
So… one of the most popular bands in Slovakia, and I can see why. Eye Beyond Site play aggressive metal, splattered with guttural brutal vocals, spat with emotion and a well delivered (almost) hardcore feel. Their stabbing heavy riffs and metal guitar approach spew forth from my speakers with an intensely massive sound! Opener ‘Sick Society’ hammers home pure aggression and anger making you take notice, sit up, and listen. 10 tracks here on ‘The Sun And The Flood’ CD with a big Sepultura / Pantera influence, but with also a big Terror / Biohazard feel. I can’t help but get a new school vibe along with an old school feel. My only complaint being in that not-so-fresh triggered drum trait of so many bands nowadays (sorry guys). A trawl through YouTube to find ‘Self Possession’ ‘Sick Society’ ‘ God’s Bite’ ‘Blast’ or ‘The Sun And The Flood’ will help confirm Eye Beyond Sight are well worth checking out. Mark Freebase
