Hailing from Boston Massachusetts this is the bands fifth album which after listening to bits of their older stuff is a progression. They used to be a bit more like Exodus but have now come into their own with the machine gun breakdown sound. They have very technical guitar riffs which blends into the hardcore/metal sound that they have, using Adam Dutkiewicz (guitarist for Killswitch Engage) to produce it was a great idea too, as he has worked with All That Remains & As I Lay Dying, the sound of this album is big!! The first three tracks are probably the best in my opinion, the rest have parts of the songs that are really great & other parts that disappoint. It does end with the excellent Disillusion, very fast & very hardcore……just the way I like it!! Paul Hoddy
