Fifth (well Duh!) album from the undisputed kings of instrumental stoner rock. Unlike many of their contemporaries, KTB are able to inject an element of danger and menace into their music in addition to the usual stoner groove, which elevates the band above many in the genre. Reprising the convention of giving their songs numbers rather than titles (except for the rare vocal songs – more of this later), the band turn out five southern fried sizzlers with more hooks than a Pirate’s convention, plus two original vocal tracks and a scorching covers of Black Sabbath’s ‘Never Say Die’ featuring Year Long Disaster’s Daniel Davies which unlike some of the bands earlier vocal tracks works extremely well. KTB are well and truly back and whether you’re fan of instrumental rock, stoner or just plain good ol’ metal do your ears a favour and check out their latest burnt offering. Essential. Ian Pickens
