Yet another band featuring the ubiquitous members of Threat Manifesto and Atlas Smash, but very different to their Struck A Nerve project. This is much more in the vein of current hardcore; catchy riffs with some off kilter ‘Voi Vod’ type chords. The vocals are a lot more aggressive in that strained/shouted style. There are also a few unusual elements such as the backwards running opening track ‘Glue Melter’ which make Hell Money stand out from the pack. It’s not quite as good as the Struck A Nerve material in my opinion, but that’s maybe because I’m more a fan of SAN’s style of HC, but this is likely to go down well with the current generation of HC kids.
