All over the world young musicians are trying to create something as brutal and lethal as possible. Italians Five Days Of Rain have teenage angst written all over them. Anger, frustration, aggression and despration just oozes from these grunting metalcore tracks. But is it just me, or are some riffs totally out of tune?. Might be on purpose, but those parts I can do without. What I do love are the fast parts, like stampeding rhino’s, with bloodshot eyes. Five Days Of Rain go from one extreme to the other a bit too much and too quickly for my taste. Martijn Welzen
