Pitchblack - The Devilty
Pitchblack – The Devilty CD (Mighty Music / Target Distribution)
Is there a better style of music to play when you’re angry at the world and when you don’t understand the pure evil that can come from ordinary people? Denmark’s Pitchblack keep asking that very same question over and over again, and although it would be nice if the world eventually became a better place, for Pitchblack it would be better if that never happened. Their intense metal is a neverending release of energy, and on this, their second album, they incorporate equal parts The Haunted, Heaven Shall Burn, At The Gates and a bit of Slayer to increase that energy. Violent, but very danceable. It’s been heartily approved by legends Hank Sherman (guitarist who plays a solo on ‘Devilty’ and Tue Madsen (Well known metal producer who mixed and mastered the lot) and as we all know there’s only darkness at the end of the tunnel for humanity, at least we can now disappear into oblivion dancing.
