In April of 1992 I hated wrestling. WWE, or WWF as it was then called, had taken over the lives of most of my school friends and I just didn’t get it? Why did people want to waste time watching people in spandex pretend to fight when they could waste their time reading comics or watching cartoons?

Wrestlemania Diary: Finally…Wrestlemania XXIX
A letter from David Moore.
Thanks for inviting me to talk to your readers today. As anyone who is in any way familiar with me knows, my two favourite things are a) me and b) people paying attention to me – so this is pretty much right up my alley.
So my big news, as you well know, is that Rebellion Publishing has recently appointed me the new Commissioning Editor for the Abaddon Books imprint. This is a big, exciting step, and a hefty challenge for me, for several reasons.

Gathering Of The 5,000
An idea came to us on a cold, wet afternoon in January 1987 out of long conversations about our disillusionment & disappointment in the punk movement, about whether or not we felt we had achieved anything in our respective bands. We talked about the excitement, the energy, the enthusiasm and the dignity that punk was, that appealed to so many people and inspired them to form bands, magazines, fringe theatres, shops, venues, squats etc., and how it all seemed to be disappearing, wasted.

Tony Parker on X-Men 248
All stories start at Band Camp. Unique stories start at Band Camp in Fairbanks, Alaska. I was a painfully awkward high school student attending a summer art/music camp. I was so thin that I had to take extra PE classes earlier in life, and even at that point had permission to have a fridge in my dorm room. I was the only person who had a fridge. Not even the RA could get one. That thin. I also played the trombone. Neither of which helped with the ladies.
